The objective of the SIMHEapp project is to develop a mobile service to recognize competences and guidance in higher education for asylum seekers or immigrants. The service is based on demand because previously there haven´t been services that guides and recognizes competences in the beginning of an immigrants integration process.
As a result, a self-service mobile application will be launched, which will support immigrant based users in beginning their educational path. The mobile service will be free of charge for private users and organizations.
The project is administrated by Karelia University of Applied Sciences and co-operate with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and Oulu University of Applied Sciences. The project is funded by Ministry of Education and Culture Finland.
